Keefer's (Army & Navy) Workwear is a family-owned small business founded by Donald Keefer after World War II as an army surplus and workwear store. During that era, Keefer's provided their customers with quality goods at a reasonable price. 

As times changed, Uncle Donald sold the business to his nephew Don Keefer and his wife LeeAnn in 1988, where they grew and evolved into a service-oriented retail store specializing in boots and workwear, offering durable outdoor clothing for both tradespeople and everyday customers. 

In 2024, Keefer's experienced a change in ownership, with long-time manager James Yozviak and his family taking the reins. Keefer's boasts a vast selection of hats, gloves, jeans, work boots, work clothing, outerwear, and one of the largest collections of Carhartt apparel in the Wyoming Valley.
